Sonoma couples workshop Is a group of professionals offering Gottman Method Couples Therapy, working separately in private practice in Sonoma County. Marcia Gomez, LCSW and Michael Basta, LCSW are both Master Trainers and consultants for the Gottman Institute (TGI)  and have trained many therapists in Gottman Method.  Marcia has introduced Gottman Method to therapists in several Latin American countries. Michael  also works as a trainer of roving therapists at the Gottmans’ workshops in Seattle. Each has been trained directly by John Gottman, Ph.D. and Julie Gottman, Ph.D., the developers of Gottman Method Couples Therapy that is based upon the research of Dr. John Gottman. Marcia is bilingual in Spanish and provides therapy in both English and Spanish.  Leandra Neely, LMFT has brought new energy to our team. She has been trained by Marcia and she has been using the Gottman Method for over 5 years.
